ATLAS openly embraces artificial intelligence across its development—from AI-assisted software engineering to generated artwork and visual concepts. As an independent creator, AI gives me the ability to pursue a vehicle simulation project whose technical complexity and creative scope would otherwise be far beyond what I could realistically build alone.
The inspiration comes from a lifelong enthusiasm for motorsport, sim racing and understanding how things work. Racing model cars first sparked my fascination with vehicle dynamics: the same fundamental physical principles govern grip, weight transfer, suspension response and handling balance at both model and full scale. That curiosity has grown into a desire to understand what happens at the contact patch, how forces move through the chassis, and why a car responds the way it does.
ATLAS brings that passion and analytical mindset together. Its ambition is to connect the experience of driving with the engineering behind it—to let people feel the car, explore its behaviour and develop a deeper understanding through experimentation.
AI makes it possible to turn more of those ideas into working systems and tangible experiences. It helps me explore designs, develop code, create visual concepts and iterate across disciplines. I remain responsible for the product direction, engineering decisions and quality of the result. The credibility of the simulation must be earned through testing, reference data and a clear account of its assumptions and limitations.
I value the artistry and expertise involved in game development, and I am committed to being transparent about how ATLAS is created. AI-generated imagery will be identified, and concept visuals will be distinguished from actual gameplay.
For me, AI has unlocked a creative ambition that previously had no practical path to execution. It has made a deeply personal project possible—and given me the opportunity to share that passion with other people. ATLAS embraces that possibility.
